Oregon Circuit Court Required Parent Education Courses: If you are filing for dissolution (divorce) with children; parenting education classes are required by Oregon law. The cost for parenting education courses ranges between $0 and $280, depending on the Oregon county you file for dissolution (divorce). Additionally, some Oregon counties offer a fee wavier for the required parent education course.

Waiver for Oregon Circuit Court Filing Fees: If you are low income, the civil circuit divorce or child custody court may defer or waive your filing fees. To have your divorce or child custody court fees deferred or waived; you must apply by downloading the .pdf file of The Fee Deferral or Waiver Application and Declaration and file the form at the circuit county court with jurisdiction over your divorce (dissolution) case.
